Rocksteady

"Rocksteady" is an Analog Tele-Phonographer made from an antique marching bugle and parts from a trombone.  It sits on an antique lamp base, which really complements its original beauty and craftsmanship.  The whole assembly is coated with clear gloss lacquer to preserve its natural patina.

This piece honors a long history of music and metalworking, and has been preserved as carefully as possible.  There's a single piston valve, which has been converted to a momentary mute button.  Pushing the valve activates a mute that keeps the sound from the phone from going through the horn.

This horn will make the sound from your iPhone louder and richer, using no electricity, wires, plugs, or batteries. The shape of the horn is enough to add 25 decibels or more! But it's not just about volume, it's about quality of sound as well.

This work of art is hand-made, one-of-a-kind, and was created entirely in America with reclaimed materials whenever possible.

This piece is shown with a stainless dock for iPhone 6, but docks are available for iPhone 6+ or 4-5s. The dock is easily removed (with no tools required!) and can be replaced for future upgrade.
